"The Origin of War" is a perspective on our freedom of expression in the face of Russian society drowning in its "novlanguage", George Orwell's neologism in his dystopian novel 1984. After 4 immersion missions, I intuitively photographed the touches of violence intrinsic to Russian culture. In light of the invasion of Ukraine, these photos stand out as a reading of the harbingers of war.
